2008 Primary Election Precinct to 2010 Block Conversion Files
The files below are based on the 2010 TIGER/Line Census Blocks. 2008 Primary Election Precinct conversions for the 2000 Census Blocks are available on the election's geographic data page.
Precints Types
- RG:
- Original Registration Precincts (designated by County Registrar)
- RR:
- Registration Precincts. RR precincts are aggregations of RG precinct tabular data into MPREC geography. Generally speaking Map Precincts are RR precincts
- SR:
- Consolidated Precinct. Because the resulting RR precincts may include RG precincts that are consolidated into different SVPRECs (Original Voting Precincts), we create geographic consolidation SR precincts to contain whole RR and SV precincts.
