This directory contains geographic files pertaining to the 1996 general election.
Sources by Pac-Tech Data and Research are in the Mapinfo Interchange Format, NAD 27.
The SWDB provides these original county-by-county files, and six statewide files for each
type of geography in our possession.  One for each of three 
popular GIS formats and two commonly used coordinate systems.

For 1996 general we have only Registration and Consolidated precincts.

Note:  Not all counties reported geography for this election.

RR -- Registration precincts
SR -- "Consolidated" precincts used for data aggregation
