County Problem Kern 15 My colleagues noticed some issues with the Consolidation File that was sent from Kern: sv prec reg dif rr-reg sv reg sv vote 50517 -64 1389 1458 917 7030344 +42 283 241 111 She believes that reg precinct 50516 should be consolidated with 50517 not 7030344 and wants me to double-check with you all about this consolidation. Per Sarah Webb: I believe you are correct. The SOS pvrdr is providing data after the ‘close of registration’ I do not think our SOV data will match their report. We’ve had the same problems with the state using different cutoff dates for some of their surveys. ***USED AS IS*** Mendocino 23 H doesn't appear to have history. Total votes in last_voted field = 26512 but SOV shows 33,966 ***USED AS IS*** Placer 31 rgprecs 552501 (1 voter) and 552502 (8 voters) were assigned to CD 1 in the county's precinct district file. SWDB block district file and maps show them in CD 4. Karin was notified ***USED AS IS*** San Diego 37 As usual, sv precinct 120065 SDU student ballot dropoff, 281805 SDSU student ballot dropoff. No associated rg prec ***USED AS IS*** San Joaquin 39 County SOV has 56854 Poll Voters (Polling OS + Polling TS + Provisional) according to the Turnout by Precinct but SOS has 56778 Poll voters. The VBM totals agree. Ben Behrens, Election Tech for SJ said to use U.S. Senate for totreg/totvote: When I add up the numbers I get the total of Poll voters: 56,825 I get this number by adding the following: Polling OS 40554 Polling TS 195 Provisional 16076 Total 56,825 I am not sure how the SOS gets their totals, but we sent the same information to them (SOVC). So I think it might be in the Provisional ballots, because some may have been VBM ballots not in the return envelope, witch would make them VBM not polls, but were processed as provisional ballots. ***USED AS IS*** Santa Cruz 44 from Cecilia, 6 reg precs (20591, 20592, 20094 20093, 20098 and 10552) split congressional districts. Karin will notify county ***USED AS IS*** Solano 48 Prec/dist file shows rgprec 49788 in AD 11 but map and block district file show it in AD 4. Notified county, Dan Brummer agreed it was a mistake and assigned to to AD 11 for future elections. SV prec 56149, listed in the SOV as having 10 voters and 11 reg voters, is consolidated from only reg prec 56245 which is listed in the consol file as having 0 registered voters. Nor does the reg prec appear in either the SOS reg file or the county's reg file ***USED AS IS*** Tulare 54 reg precinct 504018 is drawn all in CD23 the county and SOS have it listed in CD 21- 2 voters 599901 is drawn completely in CD23 the county and SOS precinct to district list has it in CD 21 it has 138 voters. 599907 is on the map in SD 14 the county has it in SD16. It has 3 registered voters. From Karin: i spoke with Stefanie Hill from Tulare elections and she verified that those precincts were assigned to the incorrect districts. She thinks this happened when some of the jurisdictions went from at-large to by-district elections immediately prior to the election and she was struggling to reprecinct. She is fixing this now and is grateful that we found it ***USED AS IS***
