Description:	This file contains statewide registration data for all registered voters. 

Unit of analysis:	RR precincts are derived from consolidated registration precincts and are a geographic unit constructed for statistical merging purposes by the Statewide Database.

Errata 1:	

There are discrepancies in totals in the rg, rr and sr precinct files for the following counties
001 - Alameda rg file has 1 more registered voter than the rr and sr files
037 - Los Angeles rg file has 923 more registered voters than the rr and sr files
073 - San Diego rg file has 1 more registered voter than the rr and sr files
075 - San Francisco rg file has 1 more registered voter than the rr and sr files


Errata 2:

Fri, 21 Sep 2018, records in the file were updated for the following counties: c057 - Nevada, c077 - San Joaquin and c083 - Santa Barbara.

The current, Fri, 21 Sep 2018 statewide version of this file has 10 more records than the 2015 version. Total registered voters is the same in both files. There is 1 additional rr precinct in the c057 -Nevada file, 1 additional rr precinct in c077 - San Joaquin file & 8 additional rr precincts in the c083 - Santa Barbara file.

The 2018 statewide version of c057 - Nevada file has 205 total records while the 2015 version has 204 total records. The 2018 version has 2 rr precincts, "5371", totreg_r=2 and "53701", totreg_r=2 that are not present in the 2015 version. The 2015 version has 1 rr precinct, "537" with totreg_r=4 that is not in the 2018 version and that accounts for the registered voters in the 2 new rr precincts in the 2018 version of the file.

The 2018 statewide version of c077 - San Joaquin file has 1,354 total records while the 2015 version has 1,353 total records.  The 2018 statewide version of the file has rr precinct, "0092430B" with totreg_r=6 that is not present in the 2015 version of the file. In the 2015 version, rrprec "0092430A" has a totreg_r=160 while in the 2018 version rrprec "0092430A" has a totreg_r=154 with the difference of the 6 registered voters having been allocated to rrprec "0092430B" in the 2018 version of the file.

The 2018 statewide version of c083 - Santa Barbara file has 236 total records while the 2015 version has 228 total records. The 2018 statewide version of the file has 11 rr precincts that are not present in the 2015 version that contain a total of 711 registered voters.
