Description:  This file contains statewide registration data for registered voters that voted by mail ballot. RR precincts are derived from Registration precincts (geographic unit constructed for statistical merging purposes by SWDB).

User Notes: Discrepancies in the vote by mail, poll voter and absentee voter totals

Prior to the 2012 Primary election, the reporting of the forced Vote by Mail ballot vote and absentee mail ballot vote varied by county with some counties reporting forced Vote by Mail ballot voters separately from the Absentee ballot voters.

In cases where the county reported the forced VBM separately from the absentee ballot vote the Statewide Database allocated the forced VBM vote to the poll voters file rather than the absentee voters file.

In the 2010 General election, the following the forced VBM voters were allocated to the poll voters file. This results absentee voter totals in the Statewide Database files for these counties that do not match the breakout of the vote by mail vote that is posted on the Secretary of State's website for the same election.
