Santa Barbara - information provided by Cecilia Santiago In the 1998 primary election, Santa Barbara County counted precinct results for the precinct 3084 in AD 33 instead of where it should be, which is AD 35. The boundaries on their precinct maps clearly place it in census tract 2805, which is in AD 35. There were 62 registered voters of which 30 cast a ballot in the 98 primary. Eleven for the Republican candidate and 3 for the Democratic candidate. Rosa Castillo, of the SB mapping dept., was notified of the error and corrected it before the 1998 general election. The error was also reported by us to the Secretary of State's office, who in turn resolved the problem with the county. 44. Santa Cruz TOTREG 130197 130185 12 46. Sierra TOTREG 2198 2199 -1 50.
